One of Brazil’s oldest cities, Vitória, was founded on 1551 and is located in an archipelago. Its natural beauties as the mountains, beaches and the city interconnecting islands with bridges create a scenario that does not lack for any other seaside capital of the country. Let’s talk about the cuisine. Vitoria has a very famous plate called moqueca capixaba and it is served in a traditional pot with its black-red color that comes from urucum ink. The fame is so big that this moqueca give its name to the Rota do Sol, a touristic route that starts in Vitória and goes southward passing by Vila Velha, Guarapari and Anchieta, it is an must do trip.
