The tickets are bought; the reservations made and is time to start packing. However, what should you pack on a trip by bus in Brazil? Between choosing that nice shirt, boot or jacket to put in the bag, there is an item we always left in second plan, the hand luggage. Always beside us, the hand luggage must contain the most precious and essential items for your trip. To help you while packing, Brasil by Bus created a list with ideal items you must have close to you.

• Documents

Nothing is more important than they are, since it is impossible to travel without identification. The presentation of documents is indispensable both to exchange the voucher for the bus fare and to embark on the bus. A nice tip that can help you avoiding problem is to have a certified copy of your passport, this way, if you lost the original document; there is a guaranteed way to be identified. Take the original documents on the hand luggage and the certified copies in the suitcase that goes to the luggage rack.

• Medicines

Have your medicines around is always important. Insure yourself with drugs that can ease any discomfort such as nausea, heartburn, cramps and headaches. Stay aware of the expiration date and do not try new medicines while travelling, after all, we never know how the body is going to react to new substances. If you make use of any controlled medication, have with you the prescriptions issued by the doctors.

The best way to deceive boredom is to have a book or magazine as company. For those who have difficult to start sleeping during the trip, reading can be a good option to relax and pave the way for a good rest.
