About Goiânia Bus Station
One of the major Bus stations in the Midwest of Brazil and the largest in the state of Goiás, it has 40 thousand square meters and even a mall. To serve about 40 thousand users who go through the place every day, the terminal has two areas (East and West) with 35 platforms reserved for boarding and 10 for landing passengers. The place also hosts 41 bus tickets sales counter.
Opened in 1987, Goiânia Bus Station was designed by Group Four, and by the award winning architect Paulo Mendes da Rocha to replace the old terminal located on Lake of the Roses, and didn’t stand the more increasing flow of passengers. The place is now administrated by Maia and Borba , that also manages the Araguaia Shopping, located at the same space.

How to get there
Goiânia Bus Station is located at the north exit, on 44th Street, one of the main thoroughfares of the city. Besides the Worker's Square, the access can be done by 44th Goiás Avenue. To plot a route using public transportation, you can access RMTC’s Goiânia website.
