About Ribeirão Preto Bus Station
Administrated by Socicam since 1976, until the 2000’s, Ribeirão Preto Bus Station went through many improvements. Eleven boarding and landing platforms were built, as well as access ramps and new tickets offices. The restrooms and the cafe also passed through reforms.
In august 2011, Socicam invested in the modernization and adaptation of the bus station to receive the users with more comfort, thinking specially about the ones that have locomotion problems. Elevators, escalators and adapted restrooms were installed.
With 17 platforms, food court, acclimatized rooms, TV’s and electronic advises that inform the departures hours, the Bus station receives about 1,4 million passengers every year. About 33 Bus companies work at Ribeirão Preto Bus station, traveling for approximately 150 brazilian cities.
